I'm currently a bartender in Connecticut but I'm staying at my friend's beach house over the summer on Jersey Shore. I'm looking to get a bartending job while I'm down there and I want to know if New Jersey requires you to have any certificates or licenses in order to bartend?|||I've been bar tending in Jersey for 30 yrs. and never had a licenses.Being a bartender at the Jersey shore is a hot commodity.I'd start job hunting now.Good luck.|||No you just need to be of age and have experience. There is no requirement for a license in bartending but it is preferred.
