They are touring the United States with Big Time Rush and they are BTR's opening. I'm going to their Chicago show :) I absolutley LOVE One Direction and I always see YouTube videos about fans meeting them as they enter/leave the venue and getting their autographs,etc. Since they are the opening, is there anyway I could leave BTR's concert a little early and try to find them? I really want to meet them! Thanks :) p.s. Since they are the opening for BTR, how many songs do you think they will sing? I read in one article that they were going to play all the songs off of their upcoming album to try to "woo" the Americans, thus becoming their fans. Other than that, I can't find any more info on what songs they could be playing. What do you think?|||If you have meet and greets (you can win from a fan site or a local radio station) you could meet them. Radio stations are always giving away free meet and greets to whoever is performing in a town and they usually make you show how big of a fan you are by doing something they want you to do which they will say and they will decide who to give the meet and greets too. You cannot meet One Direction through a V.I.P pass, well.. that's how it is for most singers but for some singers that aren't very popular in America like Greyson Chance, Cody Simpson, Selena Gomez, Austin Mahone you can meet them through a V.I.P package but for singers like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, you cannot. What usually does come with V.I.P is reserved parking, sound check, sound check after party, close concert seats, and merchandise. You can see if the One Direction V.I.P packages come with meet and greets by calling the arena that One Direction will be performing at. If you arrive early like very early I don't know when exactly they would get there there is singers that show up at different times at the arena sometimes 5 AM, sometimes 7 AM sometimes 9 AM they arrive before everyone gets there and if you arrive early there is a chance of seeing them but don't just stand in front of the arena walk around it because they could be in the back also even if their bus is out front. If there tour bus is out front (it most likely will) and if you have the guts knock on their tour bus door and see what happens. If the boys from One Direction are not in there a friend, a bus driver or a parent will be in there and maybe if your lucky they will allow you to meet them, they probably won't be mean usually parents or friends that knows someone really well that's famous are nice because they have a lot of people going up to them and they don't wanna come off as mean and then have it been in the news the next day. There tour bus will be behind the arena after the concert is over because there are many fans going out the entrance and they don't wanna get trampled by thousands maybe millions of fans while heading to their tour bus so go behind the arena after the concert is over (if you really want to see them) and go near the doors because that is where they will be heading out. The boys from One Direction are extremely nice and even if you were behind a gate or you were very far from where they were and they see fans they will come up to you talk to you, take pictures and sign autographs. Usually at concerts the celebrity does talk to their fans, take pictures and sign autographs before and after the concert is over. If you get the vip tickets, you get to go in for sound check and a meet and greet. I'm sure you'll get to meet both big time rush and one direction, or at least I hope so! But if you get there early enough, you'll definitely be able to find them walking around. Most opening acts only play three songs unfortunately|||Im going to their show in San Jose, and i got the VIP package that includes Meet & Greet, soundcheck, backstage, and the concert.. So like u should get the VIP package.. I won them on a radio contest.|||i have searched EVERYWHERE to find out how to meet them, I tried contacting ticketmaster, vip ticketmaster and the theater at which im going to see them (detroit) there is no way, it is just pure luck. Vip ticketmaster told me buying the big time rush vip wont get you to meet one direction, you only get to meet big time rush with vip... but you get to be near the stage for when one direction is performing. They told me you can ask some of the workers at the theater if there is a possibility to meet them, you can also wait outside to see if you could meet them or one more thing you could do is contact the theater about a week or two before the show and ask them, sometimes they give you hints on where to come and what time to come. I also suggest that right after one direction is done performing you go out and look for them. i heard sometimes they leave to see if they have any fans. also if you see any of their friends or family talk to them, they are all pretty nice and might be able to help you out. let me know if you find any other ways to meet them . good luck
