http://www.paris-restaurants-guide.com/dining-paris-14.html
I have a major project on France (every student gets a different country) and one of the things we have to find are famous restaurants and famous wineries.
I'm really having trouble finding some wineries because so far I found NONE and on google I am so confused because every thing's in French (duh, I read the translated versions but nothing found).
I wasn't sure to put this one as one of the famous restaurants or in the famous wineries because the Chief is all about wine.
thanks!|||you should add a few first growth bordeaux's to the winery list - there's 5 of them:
chateau mouton rothschild
chateau latour
chateau margaux
chateau haut-brion
chateau lafite rothschild
also consider domain romanee conti from burgundy - $3000+ wines!|||The following are the only 3 star rated restaurants in Paris (3 stars is the highest for Michelin, and Michelin is the best source for restaurant rankings in Europe)
* Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athenee
* L'Ambroisie
* Arpege
* Astrance
* Le Grand Vefour
* Guy Savoy
* Ledoyen
* Le Meurice
* Pierre Gagnaire
* Pre Catelan
In terms of Wineries,
Chateau D'Yquem would be a good choice

Mo毛t & Chandon would also be a good choice. They are most famous for making Dom Perignon Champagne.

http://www.wineweb.com/scripts/search3.c鈥?/a> - Here is a link to a bunch of French wineries. As far a which ones are famous, i am not sure although it might be the bolded ones. You could always go to a wine store with an adult and ask them which ones are famous so you can look it up for your project|||I thought there was a famous region in france for the kind of wine they made- burgundy?
