when you apply, ask if they are willing to train you behind the bar, or start as a cocktailserver/barback to get your foot in the door, pick up pointers, and move on to bigger & better places.|||Try going to a small bar and getting a job there. Work on your skills, get some good references, and head to a bigger watering hole. You will probably also meet lots of other bartenders who frequent your bar. Find out who's hiring and use your bartender customer as a reference to get you a better job. You'll be on your way in no time.|||Unless you're a hot chick, you'll probably have to start waiting tables and wait for an opening behind the bar. If you're male (I can't tell from the scuba gear), you could always go to a gay bar if you look good shirtless.
