I also doubt you have a liquor license because those cost several tens of thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands, because that means you have your own business that sells alcohol.|||Liquor License: A license required to sell liquor at an establishment. The bar, club, or establishment needs to own one of these to legally serve liquor in the designated region. It can be revoked if they serve to minors or break any of the regulations surrounding the liquor license. You don't need to worry about getting one of these as a bartender. Bartending License: A "license" issued to graduates of bartending schools to show the completion of the course. They are not required anywhere if you want to get a bartending job. They can help to show that you have some education in the matter, but experience will always be preferred over a bartending course.|||First, there is no such thing as a bartending "license" in the U.S. Some states do require you to get a certification by attending a class that lasts a couple of hours and some companies will pay the fee for you if you work for them. A liquor license is probably just a license to sell liquor and a bar tending license is probably a license to make drinks containing liquor.
