I have bartending license, but I have never worked in a bar. Anyone got any helpful tips.|||start as a bar back at the busiest bar in your area, if your any good at that after a while the bartenders usually will tell the manager to give you a shot on the bar on the slow days, then just practice and know all the ingredients to the drinks. if your any good you will be on the good shifts before you know it. but stay away from bar skanks and drugs.|||Go into bars and ask. I got a job bartending this way, without any experience whatsoever (and no license to match).
